Temple Newsam

Opening times: The House is open from 10:30am until 5pm. The Far is open from 10am and closed at 4pm in Winter and 5pm in Winter. The tea room is open from Tuesday-Sunday 10:30am-4pm in Winter and this is extended in Summer to 10am-4:30pm Monday to Friday and 10am-5:30pm Saturday to Sunday.

Wheelchair/Pram friendly: The paths on site are pram friendly. 

Additional activities: There is an Adventure Playground, a walled garden containing herbs and vegetables, used in the tearoom and sold in the shop, a rhododendron and lakeside walk and the landscaped gardens around the house to explore, as well as various trails marked on the map link below. There is also the House (£6.50 entry for adults and £3 entry for children) and Farm (£3.90 entry for adults and £2.60 entry for children). You can get a combined ticket for the house and farm (£9.50 adult and £4.50 child) and under 5's go free). 

Parking and any fees: There is parking by the house, which is within easy walking distance to the Stable Courtyard and Home Farm and is patrolled (charges apply except for blue badge holders). Free parking is available at the Stable Courtyard (very limited disabled parking with preference given to people who have pre-booked electric scooters) and the relief car park, which is a short uphill walk to the main attractions. There are also a limited amount of disabled access spaces at the Walled Garden.

Facilities and refreshment options: There is baby changing, a cafe, a picnic area, a shop; toilets and a visitor centre
