The Hall has been the filming location of several TV series.

Wheelchair/Pram friendly: There is a pram friendly circular walk around the park that includes Shibden Hall and gardens and there are lots of woodland trails that lead off the circular walk.

Additional activities: The park has a miniature railway train, as well as a larger land train that drives around the park. There is a boating lake with rowing boats and pedalos. You can also feed the ducks in the lake, by purchasing duck food from the onsite cafe. There is an enclosed park with rides for both small children and bigger kids. In Summer, you will also often find fairground rides. Shibden Hall also often arranges events for children over the school holidays.
