Opening times: The park is open all the time. The Jungle Experience is open every day from 10am until 3:45pm, except on Friday when it closes at 3:15pm.
Admission: Admission to the park is free. Admission to the Jungle Experience is £1 each (under 3's are free) - cash only.
Detail: Manor Heath Park is set across nineteen acres and includes a woodland walk and wild flower area, with over thirty species of wild flowers and bulbs. The park occupies the site of a Victorian Mansion, built in 1852, which was the home of the famous Halifax carpet maker, John Crossley of John Crossley and sons. (Their factory at Dean Clough Mills in Halifax stretched half a mile long.) The house was knocked down in 1958 after falling into ruin and is now the site of a sunken garden.
Wheelchair/Pram friendly: All the paths around the park are wheel friendly, as well as inside the Jungle Experience.
Additional activities: The park contains a well-equipped children's play area and water park and sand pit (from April to October). The Jungle Experience is also a converted glasshouse with botanical gardens and habitats for a huge variety of plants, butterflies and animals including fish and terrapins.
Parking and any fees: There are 14 parking spaces available in the park, two of which are disabled spaces. Parking is free for 4 hours with no return in 4 hours. Alternatively there is on-street parking on the road around the park for a fee (up to £2.50 for 4 hours).
Facilities and refreshment options: There are toilets within the park, to include baby changing and a disabled toilet, which are 20p to enter. The Flutter Bites Cafe is also located within the park. Opening Hours in the summer months (30th Mar to Nov) are 7 days a week 9.30am - 4pm. In Winter (Nov to Mar), 9.30am-1pm Monday to Wednesday and 9.30am-3pm Thursday to Sunday.
