Jerusalem Farm & Wade Wood, Luddendenfoot

Address: Jerusalem Farm, Jerusalem Lane, Booth, Halifax HX2 6XJ

Opening times: The car park and Wade Wood is throughout the year, although the car park is locked at 8pm. Jerusalem Farm campsite is open between Easter and the end of September.

Admission: Admission to Wade Wood is free. If you wish to camp, the cost is £8 per adult and £5 per child (age 5-15). Under 5's are free.

Detail: Jerusalem Farm is set in 13 hectares of a designated Local Nature Reserve and the Calderdale Way passes close by. You can spot a number of species of birds within the Woods and possibly even deer.

Wheelchair/Pram friendly: Access to Wade Wood, from the car park, is via a steep grass track and paths through the Wood are not wheel friendly. There is however a zig-zag path leading to the stream and by the playground, which is potentially pram friendly and accessible for kids.

Additional Activities: Next to the campsite is a stream, in which children can paddle or alternatively they can do some pond dipping. There are also large stepping stones across the stream to a small adventure playground and picnic benches.

Parking and any fees:  The car park is free but is small (21 car spaces) and is for day visitors and those staying at the campsite, so it is recommended you arrive early to ensure you get a space. Also note that the car park is closed and locked at 8pm.

Facilities and refreshment options: There are toilets at Jerusalem Farm campsite (by the car park) and you can find the Lord Nelson Inn nearby in Luddenden Village (HX2 6PX).
