Getting there: Rotherham Central train station is only 15 minutes' walk from Clifton Park, and takes you on a scenic route through the town and past Rotherham Minster. There are several regular bus routes that stop at or near Clifton Park.

Additional activities: There is a large play park which includes 10m tall tower slides, a skate park, magical musical stepping stones, a huge sand pit, tyre swings, a zip wire and a flower maze. There is also a fun park (fees apply), mini golf, (fees apply), a museum on Rotherham's history (free), a water park (free), train ride (fees apply) and lots of gardens to explore.

Parking and any fees: There are two car park situated on Doncaster Road (S65 2BH) and Clifton Lane (S65 2AA).

Facilities and refreshment options: There is a cafe situated in the museum and an ice cream kiosk by the water park. There are also usually refreshment vans next to the play area. Toilets are located close to the play park.
