Centre Vale Park

Address: Burnley Road, Todmorden, OL14 7BS. Todmorden town centre, as well as the bus and railway stations are a 5 minute walk away.

Opening times: All the time.

Admission: Free.

Detail: The Park has 33 hectares of woodland to explore, including a heritage trail, as well as the main parkland, which includes formal memorial gardens.​ The Park also contains a play area, a skate park, an under 12’s roadway, an animal house, a chessboard and an outdoor gym, as well as pitch and putt, crazy golf, a tennis court, table tennis, football pitches and a bowling green.

 

The Park featured in a program hosted by illusionist Derren Brown in 2011, about "Lucky" the Dog, who remains seated in Samuel Fielden's room, in the remains of the old Centre Vale Mansion, situated within the Park. Lucky is said to bring luck to anyone who touches it. 

Wheelchair/Pram friendly: The playground includes and inclusive roundabout and climbing unit. 

Parking and any fees: A car park is situated off Ewood Lane, on the west side of the park, next to the Sports Centre.

Facilities and refreshment options: Toilets are situated next to the children's playground.
