Getting there: A bus stop is located on the main road just outside the site. Bus times are available by calling Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 or online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk

Distance: There are a variety of walks to choose from as well as a nice flat footpath for pushchair.

Wheelchair/Pram friendly: Yes there is a pushchair friendly walk. 

​

Additional activities: There is a wildlife area and lots of wooded areas for kids to explore.​ Also see the chiselled graffiti on the rocks which is considered to go back hundreds of years.

​

Parking and any fees:  There is parking on site.

​

Facilities and refreshment options: There is a picnic area and public toilets are located just off the High Peak Trail. There is also a little shop that serves ice creams and teas etc. during holidays and high season.
