Opening times: Opens 7:30am Monday to Saturday and 9am on a Sunday. Closing times vary depending on daylight hours and area around 4:30pm November to February, 6pm March to May and October, and 7.30pm to 8pm between June and September.

Additional activities: The ruins of an 11th century Benedictine monastery lay within the gardens. There is also an aviary, a bowling green, a putting green, crazy golf, a children’s play area (including a sand and water area) and a wildlife feeding area

Parking and any fees: There is a charged car park opposite the Abbey Gate.

Facilities and refreshment options: There is a kiosk that is open daily between 11am and 4pm. There are also toilets on site that are open
