Detail: There is a circular walk around Baitings Reservoir that is accessible to the right at the far end of the Dam. The path around the Reservoir is 1.5 miles in length. Alternatively you can undertake the circular that incorporates both Ryburn Reservoir and Baitings Dam. This circular walk is accessible from Baiting Dam Car Park, to the left of the start of the Dam, or alternatively from Ryburn Reservoir Car Park, to the right of that Dam (just past the picnic bench) or alternatively turn right after you have crossed Ryburn Reservoir Dam and follow the path. The circular walk from Ryburn Dam is approximately 3 miles.
Wheelchair/Pram friendly: Both walks across the Dams are wheel friendly but neither of the circular walks around the Reservoirs are wheel friendly.
Parking and any fees: Baitings Dam car park is immediately off Rochdale Road (A58) at the start of the Dam. Ryburn Reservoir car park is at the end of Swift Place, past some houses and after the speed bumps. Parking is free in both car parks.
Facilities and refreshment options: There are no toilets or refreshments around the reservoirs, although Ryburn Reservoir does have a picnic bench to the right of the Dam and some further picnic benches if you turn right once you have walked across the Dam. Refreshments can be bought in Ripponden town centre.
